Students will have the opportunity to explore Agriculture, Foodand Natural Resources and the role they play in it. During this 4day camp, students will begin camp in the greenhouse workingwith plants and understanding the basic principles of what plantsneed to grow and survive, followed by understanding the animalswe care for, and the resources we use. The final day of camp willconsist of a Celebration of Agriculture, where students will maketheir own pizzas from the dough and cheese they constructedearlier in the week, followed by homemade ice cream for dessert!

This course, designed for 10 to 13-year-olds, is based on the American Academy of Pediatrics Babysitter Lessons and Safety Training (BLAST). Participants will gain knowledge of the latest safety and injury prevention practices, basic first aid, and effective techniques for feeding and caring for infants. Additionally, the course covers strategies for handling behavioral issues and tips for successfully managing a babysitting business. We will meet you in the front of the high school in the commons area the day of the class. Don't forget to send a lunch and a water bottle!

This Tech Academy camp will energize and excite students by combining the LEGO®building system’s versatility and the Mindstorms EV3 (the mostsophisticated microcomputer brick ever made by LEGO®).
