Pickleball - Adult LeagueAdult FitnessIndoor pickleball: The schedule varies but it is primarily Wednesday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays; there is a text group that goes out, after you attend you can get added in. Players range from average to expert, and it is a competitive, rotating drop-in group — people come and go throughout the season. Payment: The season fee is $20 per person (covers floor tape and periodic net replacement). New players are welcome to try a few sessions before paying; we operate on the honor system and ask that you pay if you’re regularly using the courts. Quick notes/etiquette Bring your own paddle and non-marking court shoes. Rotate fairly when courts are full; call scores clearly. Be considerate of skill-level balance and player requests.2025-2026 -
Preschool PalsPreschool Pals, a Parent Aware Rated Program, offers a nurturing environment where preschool-aged children can make new friends, develop skills essential for kindergarten readiness, and be guided by caring and dedicated teachers. Our program is grounded in state early learning standards and enriched with resources like Creative Curriculum, SecondStep, Amplify, and other educational tools. Daily activities include large and small group sessions, music and movement exercises, art projects, storytime, and interactive stations. Please select your preferred class option. Note that availability is subject to change and will be confirmed via email once your enrollment is finalized. Classes will be viewable to families prior to this date, but registration will be prioritized based on timestamps. If you register before your designated time, you will forfeit your timestamp and be placed at the end of the list. *During enrollment, please select the year your child will begin kindergarten using the dropdown menu labeled with 'K' followed by the appropriate year. At this time, our 4-year-old preschool classes are fully enrolled. However, you are welcome to register and be added to our waitlist. Designed by the experts at MIT, this unique system teaches children about simple machines, engineering, programming, and so much more. Young imaginations soar! The LEGO® Education Robotics Builder class allows students to explore different concepts in robotics. Scott West Fishing LeagueYouth RecreationJoin the Scott West Fishing Program! Open to all Jordan and Belle Plaine students ages 10–18, the Scott West Fishing Team offers middle and high school students the chance to compete in bass fishing tournaments from spring through fall. Whether fishing solo or alongside a partner, team members build skills, learn boater safety, and enjoy the outdoors through both virtual and in-person competitions. Founded in 2020, the team has quickly grown in success—sending multiple teams to state tournaments and winning the 2024 State Championship to earn a spot at nationals. Along with competitions, members participate in volunteer events, hear from guest speakers, and enjoy friendly team outings. Students must provide their own fishing rod and tackle; a boat is not required. Eligibility: Ages 10 - 18 Season Duration: March - September Participation Fee: $160 Team Dynamics: Fish individually with a parent or as part of a team Kick off the season by attending our Parent-Athlete-Coach (PAC) Meeting, where we'll discuss the upcoming season and answer any questions.
